Stronger Communities

A project funding by Birmingham 2022 Stronger Communities legacy and associated work.

As part of Birmingham's celebration of the Commonwealth Games, this project aims highlight the contributions of Black African and Caribbean Commonwealth communities and their settlement in the UK,

The aim of the project is bring people together, through breaking down barriers, building bridges, playing an active role in driving forward change to help build a fairer city.

The project features very distinct narratives of black commonwealth settlers in Birmingham 

- Equiano and the Enlightenment 

- Sporting Heroes 

- E Scooter tour 

- Selly Manor
